The following are those that are serving as our Executive Board Members.
Clara Rose – CEO C3TB
Clara Rose was raised on an island in Alaska and then lived most of her adult life in the Pacific Northwest rain. She now resides in Spring Hill Florida with her husband Larry and their rescued dogs Buddy and Wally. They have three grown children (Travis, Corie & Danielle) and 10 grandchildren that they adore. Clara and Larry own their own Florida based business and love their new home in the sunshine state, with plans to retire here.
Clara spent ten years in youth ministry before following her entrepreneurial heart into the business world. The ministry gave Clara a solid foundation and a servant heart but her real passion was realized in business and professional development with adults.
As a consultant, professional development strategist and writer, Clara Rose has worked with entrepreneurs and small start-up companies as well as large corporations, to help them identify challenges and implement solutions.
A nationally published author and professional writer, Clara finds great satisfaction in working with professionals who want to expand their influence and grow profits through the written word. Her new book series “Training YOU” will be available soon.
Clara Rose is the creator of the SAVVY Business Builders training series and the founder of the SAVVY Publisher press, that produces business books for professionals.
God has called Clara’s heart to be a part of the effort to unite the Christian community through the Christian Chamber of Commerce. She is humbled by the task at hand and covets your prayers as she steps into this new role as CEO of the Christian Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay.
Laurie Hill – Advisor
Laurie Hill lives in Clearwater, Florida with her husband of over twenty-four years, David. She is blessed to have a twenty-one year old son, Brady and a fourteen-year old daughter, Amber.
Laurie has worked in marketing and sales for over thirty years in the secular and church workplace. A believer in Jesus Christ since early childhood, she has had a passion to share the Lord with others and has done so through multiple ministries.
Laurie has taught children for many years including directing nine musicals. She has also led adults through Women’s Bible Studies, Small Groups, Women’s groups and retreats, Business Seminars, and her writings. Laurie is the published author of the “I AM in Business” book available online and in bookstores. www.xulonpress.com/bookstore
Laurie is the founder of the Christian Chamber of Commerce in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, believing that God’s heart is for Christians to come together in unity in our community and workplaces. Laurie has also volunteered with multiple area Christian organizations in board participation and fundraising to meet the goals and objectives of their missions.
Carole Ware-MacKenzie – Harmony Home Health
For over 25 years, Carole has worked in both the public and private sectors with a passion for advocacy. She has served various diverse populations such as the mentally ill, juvenile justice developmentally disabled, and foster care. Carole is a founding member of Harmony Home Health, and now as the Director of Staff Development she’s instrumental in setting the high standard of care for both the clients and staff. Carole was a family caregiver herself and understands the difficult transition of aging, caring for elderly parents and its impact upon the clients and their families. Because of her unique perspective, Carole knows the importance of caring for the physical, emotional, and environmental well-being of all those in need, and her ability to connect with others who share that same responsibility is incredible. You just know that she “gets it” and will do everything in her power to help you access the resources you need.
Academically, Carole has a BA in Recreation and Psychology from Western Kentucky University.
Sol Pitchon, MA – CEO New Life Solutions
Sol Pitchon has been President and CEO of New Life Solutions since 1999. Sol is a Greek Jew, born in Thessalonica, Greece, who immigrated to America in 1951 and accepted Christ in 1981. He and his wife Terri have a blended family, five grown children and thirteen grandchildren.
Before joining the Ministry, Sol was a Christian Psychotherapist, having spent five years in private practice. He also worked three years in a psychiatric hospital setting for Rapha, a Christian inpatient program. He has a BA degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida and received his Masters degree in Counseling from Liberty University.
As a Jewish-Christian whose parents were holocaust survivors, Sol feels it a privilege and his destiny to work in the holocaust of abortion in the Pregnancy Center Movement.
Patrick H. Mazza, AAI – MazzaBaker Insurance & Financial Services
Patrick was born in New York and moved to Florida in 1977 with his parents and three brothers. In 1985, he graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College (now St. Petersburg College) with his A.A. in Computer Science. He then transferred to the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and in 1987, received his first B.S. in Human Resource Management and in 1988 received his second B.S. in Finance.
He currently lives in Largo, FL with his beautiful bride, Julia, of 20 years and his three wonderful children. He is a Principal Agent/Owner of MazzaBaker Insurance & Financial Services with over 23 year experience in the commercial insurance industry. He is a risk manager for businesses specializing in commercial insurance and helps business owners understand their insurance programs, and reduce their total cost of insurance. He is a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Largo and loves to spend time with his family.
Barb Yoder – Salem Communications
Barb Yoder is General Manager of Salem Communications Tampa-Sarasota. After a radio career that spanned 20 years and speaking seminars at radio conferences, she came to Salem in 2007 as General Sales Manager and was promoted to GM in 2012. Barb enjoys working for a company based on Christian core values that is so deeply committed to its ministry partners, service organizations, businesses and the community. Barb oversees five radio stations, websites, print publications and major events under four brands including FaithTalk 570 & 910AM WTBN, Tampa’s TalkRadio 860AM WGUL, Sarasota’s NewsTalk 930AM WLSS, and Hispanic Christian Talk Radio Luz 760 AM WLCC covering as up to 22 counties.
Denise Seaman is the Owner of CareMinders Home Care, and currently lives in Oldsmar, FL with her husband Bill of 36 years. She is blessed to have a son Billie who lives and serves as a Firefighter in Houston, TX with his beautiful wife Krystal and two children.
Denise has her BS in Accounting from Portland State University, and Certified Management Accountant certification. Denise worked in Portland, Oregon for 18 years in the accounting field, and relocated to Charlotte, NC and then Baltimore MD for various career growth opportunities in Operations and Finance. Another opportunity took her to Tampa, FL as she worked as VP of Operations for the SE Region. Growing up in a military family and living on the east and west coasts prepared her for an adult life of many relocations around the US. This has enabled her to see so much of God’s amazing creations across our wonderful country.
She was raised in the Catholic faith, and is currently a member of Harborside Christian Church located in Safety Harbor. She believes God led her to her new career owning a home healthcare agency serving those in need in our community. 30 years working in Finance, Accounting and Operations in the corporate world honed her skill set to enable her to own and operate a successful company serving her community. She is excited to continue to see God’s plan for her life revealed in more amazing ways.
Jamie Meyer, CEBS, CMFC – MetLife Premiere Client Group
Jamie has been in the financial services industry for nearly 30 years holding various corporate and production positions. He recently moved his practice to MetLife to better meet the needs of the families and small businesses he serves. Jamie is an active member of Clearwater Community Church and even served as their interim Worship Director for over two years.
Jamie received his BS in Psychology as well as his Masters in Counseling from Illinois State University. He lives in Palm Harbor with his wife, Krys, and their blended family of three children.
